CNY Day 7 (??): Happy Birthday Everyone!

Red Lion

The lion above is one out of the eight lions who performed this morning. Very pretty!

Had lunch at Imperial Bayview Restaurant after that. Amber Chia once patroned this restaurant too. Saw her picture on the wall.

At 4pm, the sound of the drums broke the silence, calling all penduduk to gather at the basketball court. 4:30pm sharp, the performance began. There was a black+ golden lion and a dragon. Yes…a dragon!!!!

My wish is fulfilled! :D

Today’s the 7th day of Chinese New Year and it’s everyone’s birthday, may you grow one year wiser!

    Happy New Year!

    You know, I haven’t seen a lion dance since CNY, saw a couple during the CNY Cultural Night on campus a couple of days BEFORE CNY – how sad is that?! :(

    No worries. There’s a few more days till the end of CNY. Maybe you get to see one. Else, no worries..I’ll be posting up more lion pictures that I took, hope that would make up for you.
