Bumming Around

It has been a peaceful, relaxing and lazy week for me. I can’t seem to get enough of sleep even though I’m really getting enough of sleep. The bed, blanket, Ducky and the rest of the soft toys lying around just seem so super soft and comfy the moment you need to wake up.

I had just got back from Taiwan. My second visit there and it was definitely better than my first visit. We had a driver guide to take us around as opposed to having a tour guide and a tour bus the first time around.

I feel like going on another holiday, somewhere overseas or somewhere local which seems like overseas.

Medication wise, I’ve cut down from four to three to two and now one! ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait to shake the remaining one off!

I’ve tendered my resignation and I have two more months to go in the current workplace before I start my new job in the new year. For as long as I’m learning and being occupied at work, I would be most happy!

Depression #16: Tennis

Exercise helps in producing happy hormones called endorphins. It began with me playing badminton with my boyfriend after visiting the psychiatrist. I have always felt shy to play because I think I’m not good enough. I went to play anyway after much coaxing from my boyfriend.

The next thing I knew..my mum suggested to play tennis and it’s been 20 years since I last played tennis. I just went to play even though I’m not good at it. My dad’s friend who happens to be a tennis coach stays near where I stay. He saw us playing and couldn’t stand the wrong strokes that I was hitting. He decided that I needed coaching. That was how I started to learn to play tennis.

Now I play at least once a week and I’m loving the game, especially when I get all sweaty!
