The Guardian

Watched this movie today with a friend that I’ve known for about 15 years or so.

His first gift to me was a small calculator, which saw me through PMR and SPM. I’m writing this just so he knows.

Unfortunately, the calculator is not with me anymore because one day I lent it to a friend, who was then my boyfriend and my calculator just vanished. I was sad. I’m writing this just so he knows what actually happened to the calculator and hope he doesn’t kill me.

Today, he lent me two books, Financial Freedom and Financial Freedom 2. Gracie’s latest addition to her list of new year resolution is to save or earn more money. IKEA used to be my source of motivation to earn more money because one day I would like to have a home with all the simple and nice furnitures of IKEA in it. Now, LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) is my source of motivation to save or earn more money in order to fulfil my then source of motivation, now a dream or wish (IKEA furnitures in my future house).

The toll rate goes from RM1.00 to RM1.60 and so, daily toll rate that I have to pay is RM6.40, considering that I have to passed by 2 tolls. Don’t know to feel happy or sad. Each time I touch my Touch n Go card and see that RM1.60 on the screen, I get a bit “high”. Oh well, no use complaining now that it has become a fact that I would have to pay that much.
