Depression #13: Instagram

Instagram helped me tremendously. I love this app so much…more than Facebook. πŸ™‚

I took a lot of pictures and I liked looking at them. Liked it more when people liked my photos or followed me.

It helps to boost the creative side of me and I think this helps in my recovery process. Looking at other instagrammer’s beautiful pictures helped to instill a sense of peace and beauty. It was also something I could focus on and improve on getting better.

Hello there, I stumbled across your blog while I was looking for something on Google. That is when I come across your entries on depression. I never know (and never have been in) depression but reading all your honest thoughts made me realize how bad it could be.
But I think writing it out like this is a very good step. And like you said, not many can admit or dare to admit that they are depressed. I have a friend who was once in depression and she told me everything that you described in your early entries. Just last weekend she is happily married with the man who walked through everything with her.
Therefore, I believe you will be able to walk through this as well. No matter how long or how you’re going to do it but I believe eventually, you will be able to walk out of depression. And emerge as a stronger person. Chin up, Grace. You can do this. πŸ™‚

    Sincerely,
Gypsy (who happened to pass by)
