New Year’s Eve at Kura

Had dinner with Pappy at Kura Japanese Restaurant, One World Hotel. Pappy loves Japanese food and I was very excited and happy to go out on a date with Pappy. He wore the long sleeve shirt I got for him on his birthday. The one that he thinks is not nice but look what he’s doing now. Always wearing it on special occasions. 🙂

Kura Japanese Restaurant

An SOS button in the middle of this picture. We were seated in a corner, in a cube-like table setting. Perfect for couples I would say. Nobody can see you. Nobody can disturb you. And when you need someone to serve you or to call for the bill, just press the button and someone will appear to be at your service.

Fried Puffer Fish

Pappy said we must order something “funny”. This is funny enough. A plate of fried puffer fish!

The view from our table, which is Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong filled with cars and more cars.

Dessert: Macha Ice Cream with Red Beans. Macha = Green Tea.

Kirin Beer

Pappy’s day wouldn’t be complete without a glass of beer.

Live band performance at the lounge of One World Hotel.

One World Hotel Toilet

I just had to snap this pic in the toilet!

The Year End Sale is over. Tomorrow would be the New Year Sale. I’m going shopping again tomorrow. Maybe just window shopping with Pappy. And when I come back, I’d need to write a review of the year 2007 and aspirations for the brand new 2008.

Happy New Year! 🙂

It didn’t cost me a bomb…but cost my dad a bomb! He loves Japanese food and I was being influenced to love Japanese food as well.
